The part of the game nobody trains
Walk into any gym, field, or court and you will see athletes drilling the same skills for hours. Footwork, shooting form, conditioning, film study. The body gets trained from every angle. But ask most athletes how they train their mind, their focus before a big moment, their confidence after a mistake, their nerves when everything is on the line, and the honest answer is usually "I don't."
That gap is where careers stall. Talent gets an athlete in the door, but the mental side is what carries them through the pressure, the slumps, and the comebacks. We built Mental Reps to close that gap, and to make mental training as normal and repeatable as a warm-up.
One app, three people who matter
An athlete never grows alone. There is almost always a parent in the stands and a coach on the sideline. So we built Mental Reps as three connected experiences inside a single app:
- The athlete gets a full training program plus an AI mental coach to talk things through, any time of day.
- The parent gets their own app with a window into how their athlete is doing, so they can support without hovering.
- The coach gets a team dashboard with privacy-preserving insights, so they can lead the group without exposing anyone's private notes.
Everyone is linked together with a simple invite code, and the app automatically sends each person to the right experience when they sign in. No confusion, no separate logins to juggle.
Small reps, every single day
The name says it all. You do not build mental strength in one dramatic session any more than you build muscle in one trip to the gym. You build it with reps, short and consistent practice that adds up over weeks and months.
Mental Reps breaks the mental game into bite-sized daily exercises: focus drills, confidence-building reflections, and tools for resetting after a tough loss. When an athlete needs more, the built-in AI coach is there to ask the right questions and help them work through what they are feeling. It is the difference between "just shake it off" and actually having a plan.
Why we built this
This one is personal for us. We have watched the people we love pour everything into their sport, and we have seen how heavy the mental load can get: the pressure to perform, the fear of letting people down, the silence around it all. Too often the mental side is treated as something you either have or you don't, instead of something you can train.
We do not believe that. We believe the mind is a muscle, and that every athlete, along with every parent and coach standing beside them, deserves real tools and not just pep talks. Mental Reps is our way of putting those tools in their hands.
